Enlargement of the surface structure

The smoother the surface, the higher the quality. This statement doesn't always apply. In the coating or plastic industry, for example, bigger surfaces are created by systematic roughening with blasting technology. With this, the corresponding parts are prepared for glueing.

But besides the processing capacities also aspects like functionality or design may argue for roughened surfaces. If, for example, plastic and leather have to adhere to each other, the endurance is increased by roughening the contact surfaces. For sure there are still countless fields of application for which Goldmann keeps appropriate sandblast units and apparatuses at hand.
